Established in 1984, WBImages is the official international promotion agency for the audio-visual arts and industry of the Walloon-Brussels Community.

WBImages is co-financed and co-managed by the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel and Wallonie Bruxelles International.

Its mission is :

– to promote audio-visual works from Wallonia-Brussels at international festival and market events;
– to facilitate Walloon-Brussels audio-visual professionals’ access to the audio-visual market and to help them promote and sell their productions at international market events;
- act as the information desk for producers and export agents working in Wallonia-Brussels as well as for buyers, distributors and international audio-visual festivals.

To accomplish that WBImages :

acts as an umbrella for Walloon-Brussels professionals with a promotion stand at the most prominent film and television market events:

Our services include:
- preferential rates; - a reception desk; - putting materials (DVD player, monitor, computer terminal…) and storage room (for standies, posters, billboards…) at your disposal - a WIFI internet connection; - transportation of material.
works together with various festivals, notably by organizing screenings for foreign festival programmers and securing a presence of of Walloon-Brussels films;
supports the marketing of Walloon-Brussels audio-visual works
WBImages takes charge of part of the screening fees for Belgian majority productions at market events (Cannes, Berlin…)
Conditions :
- 50% of the screening fee;
- maximum 2 screenings;
- reimbursement on the basis of a claim (VAT excl.) submitted by the Belgian producer, along with a copy of the original invoice;
- the producer will have to produce a report which mentions:
- a list of invitees;
- list of attendees (+ contact data);
- the results (sales, tokens of interest, contacts...);
- his overall impression of the event (satisfaction, attendances +/- meetings, interest in attending again..).
