Synopsis:
At the end of a long summer, Marc Huyghens was getting ready to record a first album with his newly formed band, JOY. He asked me if I knew any video artists who might be interested in documenting the recording sessions. The recording of this album was auto-produced with limited funds and with a minimalist artistic and technical crew, but he had a strong feeling that something was going to happen with "Joy", and he wanted to make sure he kept traces of the whole experience. Then we talked about us, work and art. At the end of the meal, coming back to the video artist he was looking for, I had the strong feeling it should be me. So this film is a confidential document about Joy at work, made by a friend for a friend.
