Synopsis:
Is it fiction or is it fact? Fiction, of course: there is nothing truer on Earth. In a small village in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco... Leila, a beautiful young woman of about 20, is with a group of other women who set off to get spring water higher up in the mountains, far from the village. The path is long and hard... One of Leila’s friends, who is five months’ pregnant and tired from these daily trips to the spring, takes a bad fall and immediately realizes that she will lose her unborn child. It’s not the first time that this has happened on the path. It’s a curse for the women... Leila is appalled. “This is the drop of water that makes the jar overflow!”, in other words, the straw that broke the camel’s back.
