Synopsis:
Each country has its men and its beasts It’s the Ardennes forest, with its harsh winters, isolation and the difficulty of adapting to the forest plateau that have shaped the men and beasts of this country. It’s not surprising that men and their horses are so close here. One needs the other’s strength and courage to work; the other needs to be fed. No food, no work. Who is the master and who is the slave in this story that spans the centuries? The Ardennes and their horses have, between them, created bonds that are both strong and discrete. This film explores this relationship.
