Synopsis:
‘De Lola à Laila’ follows the narrative of the director’s mother, who lived her childhood and adolescence during post-war Spain. Little by little, the voices of mother and daughter entangle and respond to each other. From one generation to another, from past to present, from mother to daughter the film shifts to a reflection about woman emancipation, fight, movement, cinema, on the ongoing rhythm of waves and the sound of super 8 film, letting life burst out.
