Synopsis:
The Belgian Armoured Cars Corps’ experience is one of the most amazing episodes in the First World War: between 1915 and 1918, 300 Belgian soldiers sailed on English, American and French ships and ran on the Russian, Chinese and American railways to trip around the world, from Brest to Bordeaux, through Archangel, Saint Petersburg, Kiev, Moscow, Irkoutsk, Vladivostok, San Francisco, Chicago and New York… .
The documentary hands over to their children, now 85 to 95 years old, it restores archives, unpublished letters and travel notebooks found in the families and particularly hundreds of photos taken by the Belgian soldiers to immortalize their incredible patriotic adventure.
