Synopsis:
Mosche has reached rock bottom. His various small businesses are failing. He cannot even pay the rent on his two-room basement apartment anymore. Twenty years ago, Mosche was a promising poet in Israel, but the recognition he enjoyed did not live up to his hopes. When his son was born, his feelings of imprisonment and failure became too much to bear. He left to find his fortune in New York without ever looking back.   Tzach is a handsome young man, a soldier in an elite unit of the Israeli army. He is drawn to extreme activities, risking his life at the drop of a hat, as if to free himself of internal torment. When his mother dies, Tzach finds his father’s address among her things, and decides to call him, digging up years of pain and repressed anger. This contact also turns Mosche’s life upside down, and the world of denial that he had so carefully built around himself begins to crumble.   Father and son are now on a collision course with their respective destinies and with each other. Mosche learns that, despite his efforts, he cannot escape the sins of his past…
