Last Winter
by John Shank- Synopsis:
- Johan is 25 years old. He lives alone. His father’s farm has become his own now. He works from early morning to late in the night, caring for his herd. In his spare time, he steals time with Julie, the girl he loves. When he has the opportunity, he brings his sister home for a couple days and then drives her back to the institute where she is cared for.
But as winter covers the land, Johan loses that which gives meaning to his life. He refuses to face his farm’s financial problems, he denies his sister’s suffering and sees less and less Julie. Rather than facing loss and beyond reason, with his body and hands, Johan is clinging onto something that cannot be held. - Cast:
