Synopsis:
Nicolas is released from prison after 15 years of detention. As a youngster, he had been a member of a revolutionary splinter group. He thought changing the world required violence. During an attack on a building which was symbolic for the state, Nicolas drove the car. A policeman accidentally died in the incident. Leaving prison, Nicolas sincerely wishes to take his place in society: lead an ordinary life, take an ordinary job and, why not, live as a couple with Nadia, an unpredictable woman he is desperately in love with. Having found accommodation in a squat, Nicolas is confronted with present day contestant youth as well as with his old friends and present society.
