Synopsis:
Lucie is 14 years old and has a vivid imagination. She lives alone with her father, who spends his days hanging around the house in his robe. Underneath his retarded teenage looks, William struggles daily with the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. Between the care she gives him, schoolwork and moonlighting at the sandwich shop, Lucie finds no escape except to write a rambling autobiographical novel.
