Annabella Nezri at Producers on the Move

Each year, European Film Promotion (EFP) organises the Producers on the Move programme, which connects European film producers together. Belgian producer Annabella Nezri has been chosen by the EFP comity to participate in this year's edition.

Producers on the Move is a networking programme launched by European Film Promotion aiming at connecting young European producers to stimulate European co-productions. The selection of participants is strict and we are proud to announce that Belgian producer Annabella Nezri will take part in the programme. This year, 20 producers from 20 different countries have been selected.

Annabella Nezri is the head producer and co-founder at Kwassa Films. She's is best known for co-producing the following films: Jumbo by Zoé Wittock (Sundance Film Festival, Berlinale), Binit by Frederike Migom (Sundance Film Festival), but also Should the Wind Drop by Nora Martirosyan (Festival de Cannes, ACID Cannes) and The Man Who Sold His Skin by Kaouther Ben Hania (Mostra di Venezia, Oscar-nominated for Best International Feature Film).

"I am thrilled that Wallonie Bruxelles Images gave me the opportunity to participate in this year's Producer on the Move. I had the chance to experience the great value of this kind of networking programme, which creates deep and long lasting bonds with producers who share the same energy. Participating at Producers on the Move would be the perfect opportunity to build a solid ground for my project: exploring different options, meeting new producers, benefiting from other experiences."
