Three films from Wallonia-Brussels at Sarajevo

The Sarajevo Film Festival has announced the film selection of its 2021 edition a few days ago. Playground by Laura Wandel, The Enemy by Stephan Streker and The Salamander Child by Théo Degen will be screened at the festival, as well as three co-productions from Wallonia-Brussels.

Three films from Wallonia-Brussels will be screened at the Sarajevo Film Festival: Playground by Laura Wandel, produced by Dragon Films, The Enemy by Stephan Streker and The Salamander Child by Théo Degen, a film from INSAS. These three films received the help of Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

Indie Sales handles the international sales of Playground, Bac Films those of The Enemy and INSAS those of The Salamander Child.

Regarding co-productions from Wallonia-Brussels, there is Brutalia by Manolis Mavris, co-produced by Tarantula, in the short films competition. Titane by Julia Ducournau, co-produced by Frakas Productions, and La Civil by Theodora Ana Mihai, co-produced by Les Films du Fleuve will be screened at the festival. The three films have received the helpf of Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

The international sales of Brutalia are handled by Radiator IP Sales. Those of Titane are handled by Wild Bunch and those of La Civil by Urban Distribution International.

The Sarajevo Film Festival will take place from August 13 to 20.
