Celebrating Belgium at Festroia

29th Festroia, International Film Festival in Setubal (Portugal), is rolling out the red carpet for Belgian cinema. Tango Libre, Mobile Home and Kinshasa Kids will be presented in different competitive sections. Moreover 5 other features and 5 shorts will be screened in a special program.

Official section Tango Libre by Frédéric Fonteyne (Artémis Production)
"First Works" Mobile Home by François Pirot (Tarantula Belgium)
"Man and his environment" Kinshasa Kids by Marc-Henri Wajnberg (Wajnbrosse).

In addition to the competitions, a special Belgium focus will be held :
Four features:
- Illegal by Olivier Masset-Depasse (Versus production)
- The Invader by Nicolas Provost (Versus production)
- The world belongs to us by Stephan Streker (MG Production)
- The kid with a bike by Jean-Pierre et Luc Dardenne (Les films du fleuve)

Five shorts :
- The sardine Tin by Lousie-Marie Colon (Caméra Etc…)
- Back against the Wall by de Miklos Keleti (INSAS)
- Bizness by Manu Coeman (Panache Productions)
- Dancing by Marguerite Didierjean (Stenola)
- Lipstick by Ewa Haczyk (Scarfilm)

Finally, in the "Juvenile Programme", The Giants by Bouli Lanners (Versus Production) will be presented to the youngest spectators.

Festroia features over 180 films from about 40 countries, maintaining the usual quality and diversity of programming also counting several international premieres. Festroia Festival is accredited by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers) in which belong only about 50 festivals worldwide. It is among these, a specialized competitive festival, dedicating the Official Section to a competition between small production countries. This 29th edition will be held from 7 to 16th June.
