Alice Nella Citta: Two films In competition

Tokyo Fiancée and All cats are grey sont gris have been selected for the Rome Film Festival.

"Alice nella citta" is an independent sidebar section of the prestigious Rome Film Festival which focuses on films for young audiences.

The two French-speaking Belgian films in competition are likely to appeal to the youngsters: Stefan Liberski’s Tokyo fiancée chronicles the extraordinary amorous initiation of a young Belgian in Japan, incarnated by Pauline Etienne. Adapted from a novel by Amélie Nothomb, the film follows the trials and tribulations of an endearing culture clash between East and West.

Young filmmaker Savina Dellicour’s All Cats are Grey features Bouli Lanners as a marginal and secretive father and his complicated relationship with his biological daughter.
