Description:
EN/ The One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, organised by the People in Need foundation, is currently the world’s biggest documentary festival with a human rights theme. The festival does not only take place in the capital; after screenings in Prague, it moves on to 40 other Bohemian and Moravian cities and towns. One World provides a platform for the exchange of views and experiences; viewers have the opportunity to discuss the subjects of films with their makers, as well as with experts on the issue in question. Screenings for primary and secondary schools are held during One World. In addition, the festival works with universities through the project History, Film and Human Rights, aimed at establishing seminars on human rights as part of the education provided at Czech third-level institutions.
