The story takes place in a former fishermen town, the sea disappeared, the lack of water makes life very difficult.  Most of the men went searching for work elsewhere. Among the children that remained in the town, Boris and Toumbil have a strong friendship. One day, Boris 's parents will move in the north for a better life, even if they have to leave everything.  Nevertheless, in this desolate landscape, the children still have fun and the grounded boats became a wonderful playground.
