Sam’s mother didn’t show up at work this morning. As usual, while he was supposed to handle his move out of the house, the young man in his twenties drops his plans to take care of her. He will have to lie, cover things up, put on a brave face, threaten, forget himself… and above all, do whatever it takes to prevent her from suffering the consequences of her alcoholism.
