Ludovic, a successful architect in his forties, begins a romance with Nathalie, the mother of two young daughters. As their budding love story unfolds, Ludovic grows closer to the girls, with whom he develops a complicity that is unprecedented for him. But when Nathalie decides to distance herself from Ludovic, he feels he is losing something that is beyond him. And so begins a terrible fall.
