This is the portrait of a quiet man, a worker. It is the portrait of Marc Coton, the filmmaker’s father. Echoes of his warmhearted silence, which until now has kept his family far from the deafening noise of the steel plant where he worked for 30 years. It is the story of an unfinished transmission, of a silent promise: “you will be another man, my son”. The film leads to a reconciliation, gleaned over the course of days and the most ordinary of everyday gestures.
