At 65, Fatima discovers that her husband has led a double life for over a decade in Morocco, with a younger woman, children, and a beautiful house. Inès, Mériem, and Romaissa, her best friends from the Molenbeek neighborhood, encourage her to react and are ready to follow her through to the end. There is only one thing that will prevent Fatima from sinking into depression: picking up her life where she left it fifty years ago, just before her marriage. She decides to step onto a theater stage and perform Shakespeare’s Hamlet. It’s impossible for the others not to follow their friend. Little do they know that their decision will upheave not only their lives but also those around them, their neighborhood, and the entire country.
