During a walk in the woods, a young 5-year-old boy finds himself confronted to two hedgehogs. Totally unaware of how sadistic his games are and unable to separate the "life" that escapes him from a toy entirely at his disposal, his first impulse is to persecute them. Believing that he is their friend, the little Lunolin feels betrayed when he discovers one morning that the two hedgehogs have escaped. Becoming conscious of the "value" of these two living beings, he decides to offer them his protection when he finds them threatened by a cat...
