BAFICI 2026 : Two Belgian film are in Competition
The Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente has included two French-speaking Belgian films in the program of its 27th edition
The BAFICI (Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente) is one of the most prestigious film festivals in Latin America, showcasing the best of global independent cinema. Every year, this festival becomes a key destination for discovering bold films that push the boundaries of storytelling and creativity.
Following its selection at the Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival, where the film received a Special Mention, Forest High by Manon Coubia will be screened in the International Official Competition section. The film is produced by The Blue Raincoat and sold by Rai Cinema International Distribution.
In the same section is the documentary Hair, Paper, Water... by Trương Minh Quý et Nicolas Graux. The film is produced by Dérives and sold internationally by Lights On.
The 27th edition of BAFICI will take place from April 15 to 26, 2026, in Buenos Aires!
