Many Wallonia Brussels productions at Annecy!
The Annecy International Animated Film Festival has revealed the programming for its 2023 edition. The program includes many Wallonia Brussels titles.
The program for the 2023 Annecy festival has been revealed. Among the selected films this year, we find 5 Wallonia Brussels titles in competition.
On the short films side, we find in the competitive section Official Shorts, the animated film produced by Zorobabel, Ce qui bouge est vivant by Noémie Marsily.
Also noteworthy is the presence of two graduation films produced by the Production Workshop of La Cambre, Unusual Sunset by Noé Garcia and Passengers by Célia Hardy, in Competition -Graduation Films.
The music video directed by Pierre Mousquet for the song Grave Dive by the band Municipal Waste, is presented on its side, as part of the Competition - Commissioned Films. The short film by Simon Médard, Cool Party, will be presented as part of the WTF program.
On the feature films side, we find in the competitive section Official Features, the latest film by Belgian director Jérémie Degruson, The Inseparables, produced by nWave Digital.
We also find in this same section the feature film co-produced by Take Five, Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds by Benoît Chieux, presented in world premiere during the opening ceremony.
Finally, it is worth noting the presence of Francophone Belgian companies in the credits of several selected titles:
