Two Belgians Films at the FIDMarseille 2026 !

For its 37th edition, the French festival has selected two Belgian films in its program.

The FID Marseille (International Documentary Festival) is an unmissable cinematic event dedicated to documentary film in all its forms. Over the years, this Marseille-based festival has established itself as a space for artistic exploration, where documentary, fiction, and experimentation intersect freely. Every year in July, the FID brings together filmmakers from around the world, industry professionals, and a curious public for screenings, discussions, and encounters. The festival stands out for its bold programming and commitment to auteur-driven cinema.

Les beaux visages, the new film by Pierre Voland, will have its world premiere in the French Competition section. The film is produced by AJC.

Meanwhile, Autokar by Sylwia Szkiłądź continues its run on the international festival circuit and will be screened in the Young Audience section. The animated short film is produced by Ozù Productions and distributed internationally by Miyu Distribution.

Let us also highlight the selection of the Congolese and Belgian film Yurugu,Invisible Lines in the Autres Joyaux section, co-directed by Belgian Laurent Van Lancker. The film is produced by Polymorfilms.

The 37th edition of FIDMarseille will take place from July 7th to 12th 2026.
