Two Belgian Films at Les Arcs Film Festival 2025!

“Girls from Above” and “Picking up the pieces” are among the films featured at this year’s Les Arcs Film Festival, taking place from December 13 to 20, 2025.

Dedicated to celebrating the richness and diversity of European cinema, Les Arcs Film Festival offers audiences a chance to discover exciting new voices from across the continent. Nestled in the heart of the French Alps, in one of the world’s most stunning ski resorts, the festival combines the joy of the season’s first snowfalls with film screenings, discussions, and encounters with directors and actors. This year, two French-speaking Belgian productions have been selected in the lineup.

Following its world premiere at the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Festival, Picking up the pieces, the debut feature from Catherine Cosme will be screened in the Sommet section. The film is produced by Hélicotronc.

After its success at Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Girls from Above, directed by Bérangère McNeese, will also appear in the Sommet section. Produced by Kwassa Films and represented internationally by Be For Films.

In addition, no fewer than three French-speaking Belgian co-productions have been selected this year: Julian by Cato Kusters (Les Films du Fleuve), Fantastique by Marjolijn Prins (Stenola Productions), and Calle Malaga by Maryam Touzani (Velvet Films).

Lastly, Umedia is credited on Planètes by Momoko Seto, which will be featured in the festival’s Youth section.
