Two French-speaking Belgian productions selected for the Transilvanian International Film Festival.

The 2023 edition of the Transilvanian International Film Festival begins this Friday, June 9th, in Romania. Among the films presented in this edition, we find two productions from Wallonia-Brussels.

The Transilvanian International Film Festival, one of the major cinematic events in Eastern Europe, begins on June 9th in Romania. Among the films selected for this 2023 edition, we find two French-speaking Belgian productions.

The series Good People by Stéphane Bergmans, Benjamin d'Aoust, and Matthieu Donck is featured in the "Coming Up next" section. Produced by Hélicotronc, this series continues its successful international career after its broadcast earlier this year on Arte in France.

In the feature film category, we have I Have Electric Dreams by Valentina Maurel, showcased in the "Supernova" section. Produced by Wrong Men, the film had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival, where it received three awards. These notable achievements allowed the film to secure international distribution through the sales agent Heretic.

Also worth mentioning is the inclusion of Mélanie Delloye's film, The Nightman, produced by Entre Chien et Loup, in the festival program.

The Transilvanian International Film Festival takes place from June 9th to June 18th in Romania.
