A great year for Belgian professionals at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025!

"The Carp and the Child" by Morgane Simon & Arnaud Demuynck and "Pillow Talks" by Amandine Vautrin are part of the official selection of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025.

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival is the leading animation film festival in the world. Every year in June, for one week, the city hosts more than 200 films screened at various locations. In addition to the screenings, the festival offers meet-and-greets, exhibitions, workshops, premieres, and outdoor events. All animation styles are represented: 2D, 3D, stop-motion, and experimental.

"The Carp and the Child" by Morgane Simon & Arnaud Demuynck is selected in the Young Audience section. The film is produced by La Boîte,... Productions.

A child goes fishing for carp. But he makes the mistake of bringing his little dog along. Between the puppy, a frog, and a duck, it's not easy to catch a fish...

"Pillow Talks" by Amandine Vautrin is part of the Graduation Films program. The short film is produced by La Cambre Production.

Luna, woman of 25, decides to meet men for relationships outside traditional couple rules. She lives with the trauma of a violent ex-boyfriend and she doesn’t understand men’s behavior.

Let’s also highlight several Belgian co-productions that are part of the official selection: "Allah Is Not Obliged" by Zaven Najjar (Need Productions) and "Olivia and the Invisible Earthquake" by Irène Iborra (Panique!) in the Official Competition; "Mary Anning" by Marcel Barelli (La Boîte,... Productions and Versus production) in "Annecy Presents."

Dragon Films is credited on "The Secret of the Chickadees"by Antoine Lanciaux, with Nwave Studios contributing to "Hopper and the Groundhog's Secret"by Benjamin Mousquet, and Umedia involved in "Planets" by Momoko Seto.

The next edition will take place from June 8 to 14, 2025, in Annecy!
