Special Mention at the IDFA for "The Porters" by Sarah Vanagt

Three French-speaking Belgian productions and two co-productions were presented at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. Among the selected films, Sarah Vanagt's short film "The Porters" received a Special Mention in the short documentary competition.

Sarah Vanagt's short film, The Porters, presented for the international competition and produced by Michigan Films, received the jury's Special Mention at the 2022 edition of the IDFA. 

Money, Freedom, a Story of CFA Franc, Katy Léna N'diaye's feature film produced by Neon Rouge, was presented as a world premiere in the "Frontlight" section. 

Meanwhile Dreaming Walls: Inside the Chelsea Hotel by Amélie van Elmbt & Maya Duverdier produced by Clin d'oeil Films, was presented in the "Best of Fests" section.

The self-produced film directed by Francisco Javier Rodriguez, Jaime, appears in the section "Best of Fests". In the same section is the Michigan Films co-production Gigi la Legge by Alessandro Comodin, and also My Paper Life by Vida Dena, co-produced by Atelier Graphoui. 

The 2022 edition of the IDFA took place from 9 to 20 November.
