“Forest High” in Competition at the Berlinale 2026!
The new titles in the programme of the 76th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival have just been announced: “Forest High” will have its world premiere in the Perspectives competition. Meanwhile, the documentary “The Other Side of the Sun” by Tawfik Sabouni will be presented in the Panorama section.
Manon Coubia’s first feature film, Forest High, will have its world premiere in the Berlinale’s Perspectives section. This competitive section, created in 2025, is dedicated to first feature films. Last year, it was in this very section that We Believe Youby Charlotte Devillers and Arnaud Dufeys received a Special Mention.
Forest High follows three women, Anne, Hélène, and Suzanne, who take turns tending to a mountain hunt in the Northern Alps. The film is produced by The Blue Raincoat and sold internationally by Rai Cinema International Distribution.
“A beautiful, expressive camera — really delicate and spellbinding.”
