“The Red Moon Eclipse” makes its world premiere at DOK Leipzig!
Caroline Guimbal’s new film, “The Red Moon Eclipse” has been selected for competition at DOK Leipzig!
DOK Leipzig is Germany’s largest festival — and one of the leading international festivals — for documentary and animated films. Held every autumn, it stands out for its unique program combining documentaries and animation, a rarity in the global festival landscape. Over the course of the week, around 250 short and feature-length films, as well as extended reality (XR) works, are screened in Leipzig.
For the 68th edition of the festival, The Red MoonEclipse by Caroline Guimbal will be presented in the International Competition. This marks the world premiere of the film, produced by Need Production.
It’s also worth noting the selection of a co-production supported by the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel:Mary Anning by Marcel Barelli, co-produced by La Boîte, ... Productions, and Versus Production, in the “Young Eyes” section.
