MyMetaStories returns for a second year!

The MyMetaStories festival is coming back to the world of Minecraft® for its second edition, which will take place from October 11 to November 3, 2024. This European initiative, led by Unifrance, offers a unique experience blending cinema and the metaverse, with a program of short and feature films available online.

Once again, Wallonie Bruxelles Images is partnering with the event, strengthening the ties between cinema and new technologies in Europe. Two Belgian films will be featured: The Lost Children by Michèle Jacob (produced by Velvet Films and sold internationally by TVCO) and the short film Hervé's Case by Luna Filippini (produced by La Cambre).

MyMetaStories stands out for its dual format: part of the festival will take place in the metaverse, a digital space that promotes the sharing, circulation, and access to content. This dimension reflects the evolution of cultural practices in response to the rise of digital technology and will be accessible through the game Minecraft®.

The festival’s full program will be available in six European languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese, ensuring broad accessibility across Europe.

To explore the event in full, visit MyMetaStories.eu. There you will find all the necessary information: film catalog, program, availability by region, pricing, and a guide on how to experience it in Minecraft®.
