“We Believe You” wins an award at the 2025 Kyiv Molodist Festival!
Selected in the “International Competition”, “We Believe You” by Charlotte Devillers and Arnaud Dufeys has just been rewarded with the Best Film award at the Kyiv Molodist Festival!
This weekend marked the end of the 54th edition of the Kyiv International Film Festival Molodist, held from October 25 to November 2, 2025, in Kyiv.
The jury of Molodist — Ukraine’s most prominent festival dedicated to debut films — awarded one of its most prestigious prizes to a French-speaking Belgian production.
Founded in 1970, the Molodist Festival has established itself over the decades as an international showcase for emerging filmmakers, revealing numerous talents who are now recognized on the global stage.
We Believe You by Charlotte Devillers and Arnaud Dufeys was selected in the International Competition section. Produced by Makintosh Films and internationally represented by The Party Film Sales, the film had its world premiere at the Berlinale earlier this year. It has now received the Best Film Award at the 54th edition of the Kyiv International Film Festival.
