San Sebastian 2026: two Belgian film selected!
"Le Faux Soir" and "Forever Your Maternal Animal" will both be presented at the basque festival.
Le Faux Soir, Michael R. Roskam's new film, will close the prestigious Basque festival Donostia Zinemaldia - Festival de San Sebastián on September 26 2026. The historical drama, produced by FraKas Productions , is part of the Sélectionnasse officielle. International sales are handled by Goodfellas.
Following its acclaimed world premiere at Festival de Cannes, Forever Your Maternal Animal has been selected as the opening film of the Horizontes Latinos section. It is a Wrong Men production, with international sales handled by Heretic.
