Three Belgian selections at Interfilm!
"Hematoma," "F*cking Head," and "Alice and the Sunflowers" selected for the 39th edition of Interfilm Berlin!
The festival dedicated to short documentary and fiction films has selected three French-speaking Belgian films for its 2023 edition.
Hematoma by Babetida Sadjo is selected in the International Competition. The film is produced by 10.80 films and sold internationally by the Belgian Short Film Agency.

F*cking Head by Grégory Carnoli & Thibaut Wohlfahrt is selected in the European Short Film Audience Award category. The film is produced by Big Trouble in Little Belgium and sold internationally by the Belgian Short Film Agency.
Stéphane returns to his hometown to watch a football match with his childhood friends, Luca and Cesare. At the end of the match, they manage to persuade Stéphane to join them for a night out in a Flemish nightclub, "just like the old days." But the outing doesn't go as planned, as Stéphane is denied entry.
Alice and the Sunflowers by Charlotte Muller & Théo Dégen is selected in the Special Programs category. The film is produced by Derives.
It was summer on the shores of Lake Geneva. Alice was on vacation and feeling bored. One day, by chance, she met Zack in the sunflower fields. Today, summer is over. Before withering away, the faded sunflowers tell us the story of this invisible love.
The festival will take place from November 14 to 19, 2023.
