A new collaboration with MyFrenchFilmFestival!

"The Lost Boys" and "Cuddle" selected for the 2024 edition of the very first online festival!

MyFrenchFilmFestival has the unique distinction of being the first festival to take place entirely and exclusively online. Organized by UniFrance since 2011, it notably features a selection of ten feature films and ten short films in competition. Thanks to the partnership with Wallonie Bruxelles Images, it includes a French-speaking Belgian feature film and a short film every year. Once again, this year, we have renewed our collaboration with the French festival.

The Lost Boys by Zeno Graton is selected in the Heartbeats category of the festival. The film, produced by Tarantula and internationally distributed by Indie Sales, tells the story of Joe, 17, about to be released from a youth detention center. Should the judge approve his liberation, he will be allowed to live on his own. But when a new detainee arrives in his facility, Joe starts to question his desire for freedom. The Lost Boys had its world premiere last February in the Generation14plus section at the Berlinale.

In the Women Supporting Women section, we will find the animated film Cuddle by Margot Reumont, produced by Zorobabel and OZÙ Productions. It is internationally distributed by l'Agence belge du court métrage. As a reminder, Cuddle won the Magritte Award for Best Animated Short Film.

Let's also note the presence of two Belgian co-productions: The Beast in the Jungle by Patric Chiha (produced by Frakas Productions) and No Dogs or Italians Allowed by Alain Ughetto (produced by Lux Fugit).

See you online from January 19th to February 19th, 2024!
