The Wallonia-Brussels Federation honored at the Venice Production Bridge

The Wallonia-Brussels Federation will be honored, along with Luxembourg, at the upcoming Venice Production Bridge, the professional section of the Venice International Film Festival

The Venice Production Bridge (VPB) represents a crucial meeting point for our professionals in the cinema, audiovisual, and virtual reality industries. Since its first edition, the VPB aims to highlight production and offers a range of services, projects, and networking events to producers. This platform enables producers to meet financiers, co-producers, private and public funds, institutions, distributors, sales agents, editors, broadcasters, and streaming platforms, as well as special effects and post-production companies, in dedicated spaces and venues.

This joint spotlight with Luxembourg marks an exceptional recognition of the vitality and creativity of the film industry in our region. Indeed, this event will provide a unique platform to showcase the talents and film projects of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Producers and authors will have the opportunity to present their projects at the Venice Gap-Financing Market (deadline: May 10th), participate in the Book Adaptation Rights Market, or even Final Cut. Additionally, immersive projects and XR/VR creations will also be featured at the Venice Immersive Market.

This recognition is the result of the talent and hard work of the film industry professionals of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and underscores the importance of our contribution to the international film scene.

The Venice Production Bridge will take place as part of the 81st Venice International Film Festival, organized by La Biennale di Venezia from August 29th to September 3rd.
