Three Wallonia-Brussels films at Visions du Réel!
The Swiss festival Visions du Réel in Nyon started on Friday, April 21st. Three Wallonia-Brussels productions have been selected for this Swiss documentaries festival : "Hawar, Our Banished Children" by Pascale Bourgaux, "En attendant les robots" by Natan Castay and "Domus de Janas" by Myriam Raccah.
The Swiss festival Visions du Réel, held in Nyon, has started on Friday, April 21st. Among the films included for this 2023's edition, three Wallonia-Brussels productions caught the eye of the selection committee!
First of all, the Pascale Bourgaux feature-length film Hawar, Our Banished Children, produced by Iota Productions, has been selected in the national competition. Natan Castay's En attendant les robots, produced by the IAD production studio - Médiadiffusion, and Myriam Raccah’s Domus de Janas, produced by Atelier Graphoui, have also been selected in the International Medium Length and Short Film Competition.
These three productions will be premiered at the festival.
The organisation of “Switzerland meets Benelux” in the industry section of the festival, with a delegation of producers present in person, is also worth noting.
