A large Wallonia-Brussels delegation at the Annecy Animation Film Festival

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival has unveiled its programme. It includes several Wallonia-Brussels films, two majority productions and three minority productions.

On Monday, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival unveiled a rich programme for its 2022 edition, including several French-speaking Belgian productions. 

Yuku and the Himalayan Flowerby Arnaud Demuynck & Rémi Durin, produced by La Boîte, .... Productions and Artémis Productions, will have its world premiere as part of the open-air screening.

In the short film selection L'officielle we can note the presence of The Passerby by director Hannah Letaïf produced by Take Five. In this same section we find two minority co-productions Inglorious liaisons by directors Violette Delvoye & Chloé Alliez produced by Zorobabel and Scale by Joseph Pierce produced by Ozù Productions.

In the Off-Limits short film competition, we find the short film produced by Play on Pause and directed by Ethann Néon, 1MTH/MIN.

In the Feature Films/Official Competition section we find the Lux Fugit Film co-production No Dogs or Italians Allowed by Alain Ughetto and Nayola by José Miguel Ribeiro, co-produced by Luna Blue Film. 

Furthermore, the Belgian production companies Left Fields, (Vera Belmont's My Father's Secrets), Iota Productions, (Julie Gavras' Look for the woman), Take Five (Anca Damian's The Island) and Belga Productions (Benjamin Steiger's Marco & Polo Go Round) will be present. 

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival will take place from 13 to 18 June.
