This film is an extension of Laura Petitjean's film In the Strongest Terms. While Petitjean's film focuses on Alex Barbier's last completed painting, this filmed and animated portrait tells the story of the life and work of the draughtsman and painter, based on the images and archives collected by Petitjean during the 5 years of filming. With testimonies from Aline Barbier, Thierry Van Hasselt, JC Menu, Willem, Gérald Messadié, Léo Barbier and Dominique Goblet.
