The spring holidays get off to a gloomy start for Makenzie. He is wandering aroundaimlessly and watching the people who live in his village. His day brightens up when hesets off on a country walk with his sister. Night falls to the sound of music and the twochildren laugh themselves breathless, forgetting the reality of their everyday lives andthe impending end of the holidays.
