Nos jeunesses perdues takes its audience to the very heart of a prison for youngdelinquents. We find ourselves behind the closed doors of the institution, wherewe meet twelve teenagers serving long sentences, as well as the staff in charge oflooking after them. The film coves a year in the life of this confined universe, andfollows the establishment of a new intensive educational support programme. Ittakes a unique and exceptional approach to the problem of the imprisonment ofminors and the possibility of their social rehabilitation.
