A Wealth of Wallonia-Brussels productions at the Tous Courts Festival

The Tous Courts Festival in Aix en Provence has unveiled the programme for its 40th edition. Among the short films selected for this 2022 edition many French-language Belgian productions feature.

For its 40th edition, the Tous Courts short film festival in Aix-en-Provence will host a large selection of Wallonia-Brussels films. Tiger by François Bierry will be screened on 29 November at the festival's opening ceremony. In the international competition are two French-language Belgian shorts: The Passerby by Hannah Letaïf, produced by Take Five, and Masks by Olivier Smolders, produced by Le Scarabée asbl.

Also featured in the Nuit du Court section are Kapitalistis by Pablo Munoz Gomez, produced by Roue Libre production, and Walking on the Wild Side by Dominique Abel & Fiona Gordon, produced by Courage mon Amour Films.

David S. Prudhomme's short fiction film Seule la mer, produced by Eighty Eight Productions, will be screened in the Coup de coeur section.

Finally, seven French-language Belgian short films will be presented in the Carte blanche à la Belgique section: Le réveil by Marc-Henri Wajnberg (Wajnbrosse Productions), Point de Fuite by Olivier Smolders (Iblis Films), Sortie de bain by Florence Henrard (La Cambre), Walking on the Wild Side by Dominique Abel & Fiona Gordon (Courage Mon Amour Films), Travellinckx by Bouli Lanners (Latitudes Production), Burning by Nathalie André (On Move Productions), Merci! by Christine Rabette (Artémis Productions) and Welkom by Pablo Munoz Gomez (IAD).

The programme will also include two co-productions: Scale by Joseph Pierce, co-produced by Ozù Productions and Les liaisons foireuses by Chloé Alliez & Violette Delvoyes, co-produced by Zorobabel.

The Tous Courts festival runs from 29 November to 3 December.
