"The Lost Steps" presented in its world premiere at the La Rochelle Fiction Festival!

The Fiction Festival, the first in France and Europe to dedicate fiction as a major genre, has unveiled the program for its 2023 edition. Among the selected films this year, you'll find the film The Lost Steps by Roda Fawaz and Thibaut Wohlfahrt, produced by Frakas. This title will be presented in its world premiere as part of the foreign French-language competition.

The courthouse doors swing open. Individuals in search of freedom, recognition, love, and forgiveness enter. They are in transit in the hallway of the lost steps. But not for long. Today, they will make a choice that will change their lives and discover that the quest for self is not without consequences...

Originally launched in Saint-Tropez, the Fiction Festival has been based in La Rochelle for the past 15 years, offering nearly 60 series and films in competition each year, as well as special screenings, providing a platform for exchange and reflection for professionals in the audiovisual creation industry and an essential meeting point for fiction enthusiasts.

The 2023 edition takes place from September 12 to 17.
