"Tengo Sueños Electricos", "Tori and Lokita" presented at the San Sebastian Film Festival in September.

Two productions from Wallonia-Brussels will be presented at the 70th edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival during the month of September.

The San Sebastian Film Festival has unveiled its selection for its 2022 edition, featuring two Wallonia-Brussels productions. Valentina Maurel's film Tengo Sueños Electricos, produced by Wrong Men, will be presented in the Horizontes Latinos section. The director's first feature film thus continues its successful festival career. The film had its world premiere at the Locarno Festival and received three awards. A remarkable debut that allowed the film to be nabbed by an international seller: Heretic.

Eva can't stand the fact that her mother wants to renovate the house and get rid of the cat, which, disoriented since the divorce, pees everywhere. Eva wants to go and live with her father, who, disoriented like the cat, is experiencing a second adolescence. But like someone who crosses an ocean of adults without knowing how to swim, Eva has to face the rage that gnaws at her father. And now it is going through her too.

In the Perlak section, we find the latest feature film directed by the Dardenne brothers, Tori and Lokita, produced by Les Films du Fleuve. The film had its world premiere and won an award at the Cannes Film Festival in May/ He was also recently selected for the BFI London Film Festival. It will be released in Belgium on Wednesday 7 September.

The San Sebastian Film Festival, is one of the oldest and most prestigious festivals on the European continent. The 70th edition of the festival will take place from 16 to 24 September.
